This year Swindon Festival of Poetry is proud to announce that Don Share from Poetry Magazine, Chicago will be joining us for the whole festival to share his poetry, knowledge, experience of editing the world’s greatest poetry magazine, and love of Swindon.

Don Share is Editor of Poetry magazine. His recent books include Wishbone (Black Sparrow), Union (Eyewear Publishing) and Bunting’s Persia (Flood Editions), a Guardian Book of the Year and Paris Review Editors’ Choice selection; he also edited a critical edition of Bunting’s poetry for Faber. His translations of Miguel Hernández were awarded the Times Literary Supplement Translation Prize and Premio Valle Inclán, and were recently published in a revised and expanded edition by New York Review Books. He hosts the monthly Poetry magazine podcast and co-edited The Open Door: One Hundred Poems, One Hundred Years of Poetry Magazine (University of Chicago Press).
